Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Why do I need them?
A.

Every day, the average person takes 18,000 steps. The impact force of thousands of pounds of pressure is sustained not only by the feet, but also by the legs, knees and the back as well. Walking on hard surfaces, such as tile and concrete floors, compounds the strain on the body. Arthritis, heel spurs, corns, calluses, bunions, blisters or other conditions may form or intensify. The constant stress can result in varying degrees of discomfort, ranging from feeling tired to experiencing mild soreness and even pain. When you feel discomfort, the natural gait cycle is interrupted, posture is impaired, and the entire body is affected. Almost anyone on their feet can benefit from wearing HAPPY FEET®? Insoles.

Q. How do they work?
A. The glycerin creates a fluid cushion between your feet and the ground. The insoles sustain the impact, provide fluid shock absorption and counteract stress to your feet, legs, knees, and lower back. The “velvet” layers serve as a moisture barrier which helps keep feet cool and comfortable, in addition to giving added cushion. The insoles have a soothing, massaging effect on the feet and have provided users relief from foot, leg and lower back pain and have helped prevent re-occurrences.

Q. What benefits might I expect?
A. We have hundreds of testimonials reporting pain relief from the following: Heel Spurs, Plantar Fasciitis, Lower Back Pain, Arthritis Pain, Poor Circulation, Cold Feet, Calluses, Sore Feet, Tired Feet, Bunions, Loss of Foot Padding, Flat Feet, Working on concrete floors.

Q. Will they always feel this weird?
A. No. HAPPY FEET®? feel weird the first time you wear them in your shoes! (If they didn’t feel different, they would be the same as ordinary insoles!) The weird feeling will not be noticeable after a few hours, and will be replaced by the therapeutic benefits of wearing HAPPY FEET®? insoles.

Q. What is the fluid inside?
A. The fluid is FDA approved USP Glycerine. It is commonly used as a food additive, and is also used in cosmetics. It is completely safe and non-toxic.

Q. Will they break?
A. Our unique guarantee protects you against breakage of any kind, your fault or ours, for SIX MONTHS. Even if you step on a nail or the dog chews them, we will replace them absolutely FREE!

Q. How long will they last?
A. The average life of our HAPPY FEET®? Insoles is 9 to 12 months in normal use, depending on the person. If they are cared for, they should last much longer.

Q. How do I care for my HAPPY FEET? Insoles?
A. Keep your Insoles clean and free of grit. Machine or hand wash with soap and water WEEKLY. This will increase durability and absorbency, while keeping the insoles soft and comfortable. AIR-DRY ONLY. DO NOT PUT THEM INTO THE DRYER! They are not microwavable. Follow these instructions and you will have real comfort and pleasure with your HAPPY FEET®.

Q. What if I wear Orthotics?
A. HAPPY FEET®? should be worn on TOP of your orthotics. Because they are fluid-filled, and remarkably thin, they will contour to the shape of your orthotic and not distort the function of your orthotic.

Q. Will they make my feet hot?
A.

No!  Actually they will keep your feet cooler in summer and warmer in winter, similar to other types of insulation, they create a thermal barrier.  Glycerin is also a "coolant" found in some radiator coolants and anti-freeze.  This cooling helps reduce inflammation and perspiration.
